The UGA men's tennis team begins play at the National Team Indoor Championships Friday at 3 pm on the campus of the University of Virginia. They are seeking their 3rd indoor national title in 5 years. The Dawgs are the 7th seed and they have a very familiar opponent in the 1st round, SEC rival Ole Miss. Ole Miss beat the Dawgs 4-3 last season in Oxford, but Georgia holds the overall series record of 31-9. Head Coach Manuel Diaz had this to say about the tournament and match up. "We’re excited to be here. It’s such an elite field once again competing for a national championship. We’re excited about the way our guys are playing and their preparation to date. It’s going to be a fantastic challenge going up against a team like Ole Miss who had such a great season last year. It’s going to be a preview of a big match coming later this year in Athens.”
